on a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica I went to check the trans. oil and there is no dipstick. A local shop said that the trans. is sealed and has to be checked at the dealer. Is there a way I can check it. Is there a dip stick I can get for the job. If so where can I get it.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Trans hesitates when I put it in reverse.
How long has your 2007 Chrysler Pacifica had this problem?

Special equipment AND procedure required.. You can get a dip stick - however a scan tool for measuring transmission temperature is also required to do the job correctly.. IF it cannot be done correctly - then it is little use doing ot at all. This is modern technology for ya!
