My Car Thermostat goes from Low to mid Level in a few minutes of driving. Is this Normal or acceptable for this type of Vehicle? Also, Does radiator resovoir need to be filled to top?

This is normal operation of the thermostat. the temperature gauge should be in the midrange of the scale. The coolant reserve system provides a quick visual method for determining the coolant level without removing the radiator cap. With the engine cold and not running, simply observe the level of the coolant in the coolant pressure container. The coolant level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
