What is your question?
The problem is constant. The blower will not turn off. The system seems to be running regularly (heat, upper and lower vents, etc.) it's just that what turn off and actually blows harder when you try to turn it off. Would really like to avoid a costly electrical diagnostic test. Is this something I can fix by ordering a part?

check the blower motor resistor,it's bad.yeah you can pick it up at any local parts store, you don't have to order it.depends if yours is automatic or manual temp. control, there are two different ones.napa,az,adv,orly.
Thanks so much! The problem has continued but I haven't had a chance to check it out since I'm sharing a car with my 2 daughters. I will youtube how to find the blower motor resistor. Is this a good link explaining "how to?" How do you Change, Replace, or Install Broken 2004-2007 Chrysler Pacifica AC Heater Fan Speed Resistor Replacement - See more at: http://www.go-parts.com/guides/2004-2007-chrysler-pacifica-ac-heater-fan-speed-resistor-replacement-1616.html#sthash.gNDO8gZt.dpuf
yes that is a good link.i kinda of misunderstood your question at first.is the blower motor running all the time, even with the key off?if it's running with the key off, then you may have a relay sticking in the fuse box,the blower motor relay.reply back and let me know.
The blower has remained on just a couple times when I have turned off the engine. But, mostly the problem is that it's always on "high" and it usually stops after the engine is turned off. This weekend I'm going to try whatever you suggest! Thanks again SO much.
ok,then it sounds like the resistor is burnt.when it only works on one speed, most of the time on high,it's the resistor.check the resistor and the connector,it may be melted also.let me know what you find.
Thank you so much for your help! I replaced the blower resistor and it's good as new! You're my hero! You saved me several hundred dollars! Thank you.
now that's the kind of results i love to hear!some folks would have just said,i'm taking it to the DEALER?you know now days, you can find about anything on the net,if you just do a little research.and you did just that!pat yourself on the back, very good work.from the EAST COAST TO THE WEST COAST!!
Oh gosh-- one more question! All of a sudden my AC (in the front) verses the back is turning off. Sometimes it will start to work again--it's tempermental. Any idea what it could be? Is it related to my other problem?
