no heat, defrost blows,no other selection

thanks for the starters! where is the heater control valve?

Follow heater hoses , should be in one of them close to firewall. With it running and someone inside car , have them turn the temp. full 'cold' , wait a few seconds , then full 'hot'. Should see a lever move about 90 degrees from each extreme.
