What type of scanner do you have? Do you know how to retrieve 'fast codes'?

BEFORE you go and buy a scanner , check the BASICS first!!! Do you have spark? Do you have fuel PRESSURE ( able to test with gauge?) and is timing (physically) correct? ALSO most helpful , especially if you want to dive in and do all your own work--- BUY a FACTORY service manual!!! Check with dealer for who publishes them and then if they can't get you one for a reasonable price , then check amazon or whatever on-line source you like.IF you are into this Crossfire for the 'long haul' , then whatever you spend on the factory manual , will be well worth it!!!!

Hi Ziptie12,I already have the service manuals for my Crossfire. The spark, the fuel pressure, timing, and the starting motor checks fine. The only items left to check are the cam, cranck and clutch sensor modules as well as THE SKREEM and MAIN PC.Thank you for taking the time to help me.

Zippie I had the same problem with my 06. I had the engine control module replaced and it starts and runs great. According to another website (Crossfire forum) there are two suspect solder points that are often trouble. Rather than mess with soldering circuit boards, I just had the module replaced. Unfortunately, now my gas gauge doesn't work and I think the dealer programmed the fuel gauge parameters wrong on that module or on the fuel leveling unit they also replaced. Anyone reading this who can help with the gauge problem, I'd appreciate it.
