U R right and T Y again.. it definitely did work, light out but still haven't a clue as to what or where is the trigger lol it's tough being the dummy sometimes. But I'm getting used to it LOL

It uses either a Mercury Switch or the latch opens the circuit when trunk lid closes.... Hey, cars are just MY thing.... I am sure you have your own!! As far as being the dummy.... It simply depends on which side of the fence one is standing on!... There's a bunch of subjects I know nothing about and the only way to find out is ask, someone knows the answer! Happy motoring....
