Remote starter doesn't keep car started for to long then shuts.

It happens when check engine light is on.But check engine light gos off for a bit and then it works until it comes back on.the check engine light goes off for a while and then comes back,on and then the remote starter doesn't keep started again

Factory remote start is affected by check engine lights. You need to start by scanning the car and fixing the check engine light issue. You're remote start will likely work as designed after that. Alex
Aftermarket remote starts might have a time adjustment but factory installed remote starter can shut down the engine if the computer sees a problem. Get your check engine light fixed!
