Front driver side window will not go up

Old school test - try to follow along : Turn key on - activate drivers window switch while watching dome light - - IF dome dims just slightly - that confirms voltage is being sent to the window lift motor - lift motor and regulator replacement required. IF light does not change (dim) at all - that confirms an open circuit (broken wire) of defective switch. There isn’t much the average DIYer can do to correct this problem - however the simple test should help determine what has failed. Good luck!
