Replaced motor with a lower mileage how to reset mileage

Hello, The mileage on the dash reflects the actual mileage of the vehicle, not just the engine. It does not matter if every nut, bolt, and part on a vehicle are changed, the vehicle chassis is what carries the mileage. Also, alterations of any odometer are illegal.
if you were to have that done or CAN get that done which IS illegal,as soon as you go to get it inspected and the mileage is lower than last year, here comes the RED FLAGS! DMV will come visit you and the station who did it,and they won't be nice to you either!
