What is your question?
After gettin lost & endin up on an extremely muddy road we found ourselves stuck & stalled out. I dug every bit of mud out of the engine bay I possibly could before attempting to start it again. It cranked just fine & actually fired up & started but was short lived. In 1-2 seconds of running it quickly died again..but didn't sound like a motor stalling, it was as if the car just shut itself off...Since(MANY MONTHS SINCE INCIDENT FYI)it's only cranked & cranked but still refuses to start up.... Any ideas of what I could possibly do in order to get it fired up finally? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
How long has your 2005 Chrysler 300 had this problem?
Year or slightly more since incident

Start with the basics. Fuel pressure, spark and scanning for codes. Those 3 will get you pointed in the right direction. Post back up with your findings. Alex
Also in owners manual - probably listed as > Fuel Pump Cut Off Switch Push the button DOWN to reset. You were driving is prime conditions to have tripped this switch to the off position!
Awesome awesome! Thanks so much, that Makes complete sense too cuz like I mentioned after it died the very first time it started back up again but for JUST a split second then shut off as if it was not getting any gas.... even when I would try to start it up it cranked just fine but basically just seemed like it wasn't getting any Fuel was all that sounded like it was missing... thanks a thousand times. I'm gonna feel really stupid too if that's it we've had it sitting at my shop for almost 2 yrs we even bought her a new 2012 Dodge Avenger so she had a vehicle until we figured out how to fix it or ended up deciding to sell it which ever came first lol thanks again for all your help MUCH respect pushrod thanks so much
Unfortunately I have made a mistake here - your vehicle isn’t equipped with an inertia switch - I don’t know how I confused Chrysler with Ford - my bad! I thought I read Lincoln Town Car in there somewhere.. Sorry. Go with Alex’s suggestions . Good luck and thanks for replying!
