I lost my keys, bought a use steering column and replace the old one, now everything lights up but won't start

Yeah, should be able to do it but some are better at the trade than others.. Amazing what a pro can do with this sort of problem!.. Wouldn't believe some of the things I've seem em do over the years! . Ok, here's one for you.. Brother had a Chevy truck, he locked the keys inside.. Called Locksmith and he made a new key on the spot, just by looking through the window at the Key that was laying on the seat.. Worked perfectly !!! .. BTW... Don't feel bad.. Bunch of people have done the same thing you did.. Folks just don't know about all that security stuff.. If that's the worst thing to happen, be alright!
