How much trouble has there been with wheel bearings and must the hubs be replace

Yes the wheel bearings are combined with the hubs. And 2 yes you can do just one side. So far I have replaced 2 left and 1 right.

Get a mechanic to check it.

I looked up service bulletins for this car and bearing failure is common. If you can, get the specs and buy them from bearing king or other . Just don't get oem
