What is your question?
Two days ago, I took my car's key out of my ignition with my car being in the park position and my ignition in the off position, and my car was still fully running! The only way I could get my car to turn off, is to open my hood. Now, even when my car is off, my dashboard including all lights and gauges turn on; along with my outside lights as if the car is fully running, but just not the engine. My car still has problems with turning off after the key is out of the ignition as well. What can I do to resolve this issue so I don't have to keep on opening my hood in order to get it to turn off and to stop from everything being turned on, but the engine every now and then when the key is out of the ignition before my battery ends up dying or my car just ends up not working at all?
What makes this problem better or worse?
The car only turns off when I open my car's hood
