Unassisted acceleration

Do you have a check engine light on? Also check to see if your floor mat is not getting jammed on the accel pedal. If not you need to call for a tow and not drive the car. This is dangerous. Alex

Remove EVERYTHING from the drivers floor pan area including the floor mat and try it. In an OPEN area .. Turn key on - shift to neutral - start engine - shift to drive without touching any pedals at all to see if that makes a difference.
