I have a 2009 chevy travers and cylinders 1,3,5 are not firing at all.

Did you check the fuel injector FUSE for odd number cylinders ? Keep in mind inop fuel injectors will cause misfire exactly the same as mo spark! Are spark p,ugh WET with fuel???

The 09 Traverse was like the Guinea pig of the traverses. Mine has the exact same problems and runs horribly. From what research I've done most things in my opinion point to the ignition coil packs. They are notorious for going bad in them. From what I understood one of the main reasons for them going bad is possibly bad catalytic converters. If they are clogged up the airflow and fuel is slowed and the coils cannot burn all the fuel they are given it is sort of backed up in there. I'll be changing my coils and possibly converters within the next month. I will reply whether that stops the problem or not. On mine it's cylinders 1,3,6
