Resistor quits working for the blower

What is your question?

My blower quit working on the number 4 & 5 settings. I had the resistor replaced and the 5 setting started working but still no 4. The connector had signs of getting hot and was difficult to disconnect. Now the second resistor is out on the same settings. What could be causing it to burn up?

High resistance at the connector generates heat and is causing repeated resistor failure, replace the connector first then the resistor again if needed. Part is avail at dealer,, maybe NAPA.....

Return to installer... It's their responsibility to fix it!
