What is your question?
Drove it to gas station turned it off and pumped fuel got back it and tried to start it.. nothing! No lights, radio just nothing. Jumped it off a friend's truck and at first so it did was click, then nothing again. Couldn't get the key out of the ignition, it wouldn't turn to off position, it stopped at acc.. put the jumper cables on again and with alot of turning the steering wheel it finally went to off and released the key.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Jumped started worked but when turned off and it won't start again.. battery good alternator good starter and relay good
How long has your 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer had this problem?
1 day
Assumptions of components condition is a mistake. *HANDS-ON* TESTING MUST BE PERFORMED..
Thank you for your very helpful advice. But like I said before, the battery is good. That was the first thing I made sure of.. also the alternator and starter check out. Changed out the ignition switch for nothing also... Checked grounds and cables.. now what?
Thing that’s odd here is the fact jumper cables actually made a difference.. That’s indicative of a shorted / defective battery that must be load tested with proper tester and should have specific gravity tested using a battery hydrometer. Good luck with it!
