What is your question?
I pulled the negative cable on the battery to work on fuel system on '03 Trailblazer EXT. After reconnecting the battery, the fuel system is fine, but now have no power at all to AC control panel. 10A fuse (#30 on panel) is okay. Replaced the large gray AC fuse/relay (#44 on panel), but still no power. Any ideas on what blew?

Turn key on, using a 12 volt test light - TEST EVERY FUSE you can find, under hood and inside the cabin... Should have power on each side of fuse .. Even if it says it's for an ejection seat, TEST IT! .. Testing takes less than 5 minutes.. I have fixed a 'bunch' of electrical problem by doing that simple test and replacing failed fuses.... Post test results.
Thanks pushrod. I tested every fuse with the testlight. I was pretty surprised how many didn't work with the ignition off and even fewer with the car running. So I started pulling all the fuses and visually checking them. None were bad, so I'm pretty confused. But when I started the car back up, the AC was working. That is why I hate electrical problems. Anyway, the AC is working now. Thanks!
Yeah, electrical problems can be puzzling for sure, main thing is it working now .. Hope it continues to do so! .. Testing ALL fuses is definitely the way to start troubleshooting these types of problems, then go from there! .. So many times there is a failed fuse way over there in the corner of the fuse block that shouldn't have a darn thing to do with the actual problem .. BUT many times, IT DOES! .. That's exactly why I just go ahead and test em all to start with... I have a 'self powered' tester that makes quick work of it though.. For the DIYer, 12 volt test light works just fine. The main thing to remember here is .. 'IF' a fuse has power on one side, then the other side of the fuse should have power as well, if not then 'that' fuse has failed! .. Thanks for the reply!
