See Compass ~ calibration - in the owners manual.

Compass uses GPS signal for calibration - take the scenic route next trip as that may enhance GPS signal. Good luck!

Hello, this indicates that the compass needs to be calibrated. Your owners guide has the instructions. See your local dealership for aid otherwise -- they shouldn't charge you to show you how to do this.
