where is the transmission module located on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Every time I take off from a light my vehicle seems like it jerks like it's slipping when changing to the next gear

Location of the module is irrelevant! .. There is absolutely nothing DIY about this transmission .. 'Professional' scan test required!!

I would suggest bringing the vehicle in so we can take a look at it. There can be more than one reason to cause an issue like this.
