What is your question?

Would a bad encoder ring inside the transfer motor cause the switch lights to all stay off. They flash when the truck is turned on then stay off. I changed the switch and the module and still no lights and does not make sound like it's attempting to switch when I press the switch. I'm hoping that the encoder ring will fix the switch lights and the 4wd service light will go away

How long has your 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe had this problem?

Years...never really used my 4wd
