What is your question?
I have a 2003 Tahoe used to plow for the past 5 winters. I started it to remove the plow and when I turned the plow on, everything turned off. When I tried to start the car nothing happened...no noise. I let the car sit overnight and the battery was dead in the morning. The battery didn't show any voltage so replaced it with a fully charged battery and it would not start. I disconnected the negative lead on the battery and put an amp meter on the negative cable from the car and the neg post on the battery. With the key out and everything off the draw was 3.5 amps. When I tried to start it, the gauges moved backwards and there was a buzzing sound from behind the instrument panel and the CD player was making noises. I disconnected the Radio/CD and the draw was down to 1.5 amps. I disconnected the instrument panel and the draw was now .5 amps. Could it be a bad relay/controller issue causing the draw? Would this prevent starting the car?
How long has your 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe had this problem?
