Thanks I just read up on line re fixing this.One person said to separate the shafts pump 3/4 of a tube of grease into the upper shaft and put back together. The other person said lock the steering wheel remove bolt on shaft and slide it up and down at least 30 times put the bolt back in and your done. Any comment?

Repacking them is best, that's how they rebuild them. It will probably happen again, but quit for awhile again.
