Why is there smoke coming from my comfort control system

Thanks i pulled out my comfort control and when i turned it on i seen on the bottom side smoke coming from beside the blue little box

Unplug wire connectors and look for one of the terminals that is off color from the rest, there is your high resistance or poor connection which = heat/smoke!! Check wire connector for melting, replace that connector and the componet it hooks to! Or have it done....
