What is your question?
When driving i hear a clicking that is in conjuction with the engine. if i accelerate it clicks faster. i can feel the vibration when im driving. it typicaly only dose it when the truck is cold or i am going slower speeds.(under 25) From what i have tried to reserch on my own it sounds like its the transfer case. Im hoping the fluid is just low and i dont need to replace it. If anyone could point me in the right direction to start i would be grateful, Thanks!
I haven't tried yet, been kinda scared to make things worse. I will try that. I bought it 2 years ago, and the night that I drove it home the drive shafts came off on the freeway and couldn't find it. It was a pain to find a 2 door tahoe drive shaft. A friend told me it came off because the u joint was installed wrong.
That's a good place to start looking!! U-Joint most likely dry and binding up..got to pull shaft out and work joints by hand to test..should move freely without any binding!.. Reason for 4x4 test..it takes some pressure off rear drive and usually will quieten noise .. Ultimately the best test is to pull REAR shaft and physically rotate U-Joints!!.. Get some hands-on help if needed!
