What is your question?
I own a chevy sonic 2012 automatic, which i have recently had the mass air flow sensor replaced. Initially it did stop the jerking and other issues but not soon after replacement my car developed another noise. When accelerating i can hear a loud deep noise coming from the passenger side almost like the car is shaking and takes awhile to accelerate sometimes going up to 3000 rpm just to get to 40 km/hour when starting the car. I also hear the noise sometimes when I take my foot off the gas. Been to the shop a few times now and they replaced something on my transmission (obviously wasn't the issue and paid $200 for this replacement part) and am still hearing this noise. PLEASE HELP!! I think it has something to do with the sensor but honestly know nothing about cars. Thanks in advance.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I first start the car and if its cold is when it is worse. Don't hear the noise on the highway
How long has your 2012 Chevrolet Sonic had this problem?
A few weeks since getting mass air flow sensor replaced
That’s your only recourse - it is impossible for anyone online to determine exactly what you are hearing. May have to leave vehicle at repair facility until a repair solution can be achieved and repairs completed. It is moot to attempt an answer that will fix this concern otherwise. Good luck!
