Engine went out at 237,000 miles? How much to replace or is it worth it?

Yes the truck is in decent to good shape except the engine went out, just seems a little pricey at $5000.00

What can you buy for that price though?.... Check around, might find a better deal..... Keep in mind your truck aint worth much without an engine!! Seems everything is too d..n much these days!! . Another option.... check on a good salvage engine with warranty.... l've had good luck with those!.... Your call...
