No electrical power. Battery good, Acts like there is no battery.

So after an exhaustive hunt and taking battery back to where I bought it in December, They told me it was good but would top it off with a charge. I returned to have them tell me the battery was defective. They replaced the battery and everything worked fine. It was a wild goose chase.
