My truck is not getting fuel. There is no pressure at the Schrader valve under the hood, but the fuel pump primes when the key is turned on. The truck fires right up when starting fluid is sprayed into the intake. Any prechecks before replacing fuel pump?

There is one... Make sure there IS fuel in the tank!!.. Don't sneer, you'd be supprised how many times they come to the shop on a hook and be out of gas!.. The pumps do give some problems though!!
