my truck died yesterday while it was running and won't start ignition switch?

my ignition switch has been working hard sometimes and yesterday i heard a noise from underneath like something was running besides the engine.then the dashboard lights flashed and the truck dies. won't start and sounds like a clicking like a dead battery buit the battery is good. I'm thinking ignition switch is bad? or possibly starter?

What makes this problem better or worse?
