TAKE THE BED OFF !!
This video is showing fuel pump replacement on a 2003 S-10 - 4.3 - crew cab pickup : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSdTvmnFiV8 Yours should be same.
Get a can of penetrate - applicable tools - lifting equipment - safety glasses - and helper - remove fuel tank .. It’s pretty straight forward. Now if not familiar with this repair I strongly recommend *hands-on* help from ‘qualified personnel’ .. I hope you’ve TESTED the fuel pump fuse and relay - relay will click on for 3 seconds when key is cycled to on position - then it will click back off - if fuse isn’t blown and relay is working.. Relay click is easily heard from under hood. Good luck!
How did you get to the pump?. Dropped the tank or lifted the bed? If appreciate any pointers you can give me
VISUAL INSPECTION REQUIRED: IF pump module is under the cab > remove the fuel tank. IF pump module is rearward of the cab > remove the truck bed. Here online > We can’t determine which way you need to go .. That’s all that can be said. 🍀
