I replaced the fuel pump in my 2001 chevy s10 2.2L now the pump turns on

The pump turns on and i have fuel to the fuel filter but i dont get fuel to the fuel rail or to the injectors can anyone assist with this problem?

What makes this problem better or worse?

If you have fuel to the filter, but not past, there must be a restriction. This would not be terribly common, but if it is as you say, there must be.

Is fuel actually going through the fuel filter? ... Filter would have to be completely clogged if not! Is the security light on in dash?
