you have an exhaust leak. where the oil is burning into the exhaust. easiest thing to do the cheap way is 1. look for leaks in the exhaust pipe and muffler . also check the main exhaust port about 1 ft back from front tires. its in the center. the port and the pipes may not be welded correctly or may of a jimmy rigged clamps on it. any leak can be easily fixed by welding, or buying steel weld. which is a putty form bondo that hardens up . and is as stuff as steal. hense the name steal weld. hope this helps
Can happen in both 4 and v6. Coolant is big problem for me. And still have not pinpointed source of leak. Found one spot . I forgot what the valve is called, but on a 4cyl you should have a separate compartment for cooling correct? So no direct radiator spot. Meaning take your coolant tank out. Ok and flush it in kitchen sink . Check for wholes other than those made to be used. Of no leaks on tank then it's fine. Second check the drain valve on bottom of radiator located on passenger side of car. Look for cracks and turn valve fully open and closed to see if it leaks. Do this at home or friends house where you have access to at least 5 gallon of water. And keep coolant on hand when you successfully repair. Water freezes in the cold states during winter . So if successful use the coolant or antifreeze . Reattach coolant tank. Hoses and all. Take water and dump through tank. Garden hose works faster and has more pressure. You need to flush the radiator and the whole system.keep water flowing through system. Have car lifted on jacks or ramps for easier view. Pinpoint the source if one can't be found. Aka soapy water . Soap acts as a visible source of a hole in line or part. Then you can fix the problem if found. If still can't be found take to a mechanic. Who may have to take additional parts out. Also check water pump . If source is found take a compound called steel weld or even water weld. These are putty form material that hardens turns to steel. Thus making places that can't be patched or accessible with a welder possible to seal. I personally my drain valve is cracked. I used water weld to seal it. And duck tape to hold the weld on till it hardened. Have not had a leak yet. Also use an egg to pinpoint. And to temporarily to patch the hole so u can drive to a mechanic or to store locally
What was that??? I think a thesaurus fell on his computer and the words bled into the keyboard......Otherwise, another victim of the 'GREEN JELLY'!!!!!....Possible double latte-cappuccino overdose??
