truck does not turn neither cranks. Loses all electrical power when turning key

i did that already and it turns on well. Once i turn it off and try to turn back on it does the same thing as before

Battery is obviously drained to the point it won't crank the engine!.. Charge battery then check charging system, if that's ok, replace battery!
