What is your question?
I need to bypass the heater core on my truck, can't see the printing on the hoses.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Better when the heater core wasn't leaking
How long has your 1991 Chevrolet S10 had this problem?
Out of service for several weeks due to overheating

It would be best to loop the hoses together at the firewall using a connector so coolant still flows through them..
Understood. My plan is to remove the heater hose going to the water pump, and connect it to the metal tube going to the engine. Connectors, hose and clamps will be involved.
That’ll work .. I’ve witnessed some people just blocking both hoses which isn’t wise.
Thanks for the reply! :D
Does anyone have experience with Blue Devil Pour-n-Go? https://store.gobdp.com/pour-n-go-head-gasket-sealer-00209/
Yeah I do - it doesn’t work!
That's good to hear. I was thinking about using it...quicker, no real work involved, but it's cheaper to do it the way I explained above. Thanks for the info!
Rog-O!
