That is what depresses the brake light switch ‘plunger’ which turns off the brake lights..
It s located on a bracket just forward if the brake light switch - there is nothing but a hole there now - that is where this stop pad need to be installed.
There has most certainly got to be some YouTube videos showing replacement of this part ..
