Google > brake light switch stop pad for Toyota Corolla .. View the resulting page .. Corolla is exactly the same and will likely fetch more helpful information.. That is what depresses the brake light switch ‘plunger’ which turns off the brake lights.. It s located on a bracket just forward if the brake light switch - there is nothing but a hole there now - that is where this stop pad need to be installed. There has most certainly got to be some YouTube videos showing replacement of this part .. (You can use the replay feature to respond to answers given - no need to re-post question)
Here is your previous question : How to replace brake light switch (1999 Chevrolet Prizm) How to replace and check the brake light switch Visitor in Williamsburg, VA on June 05, 2019 Tags: chevrolet, prizm That wasn’t enough information to even warrant a response - but I chose to give it a shot anyway .. NOW - IF I had instructed you on “how to replace the brake light switch” like you ask - then the answer would NOT have fixed your problem .. That, plus years of experience, is the reason I ask for more details! Now at least you know what the actual problem is here! Good luck with the repair. BTW - You’re welcome for the FREE advice..
Thank you Pushrod all of your FREE advice. It was the plastic stop for the brake light switch. The broken pieces where in the floor. I owe you, Pushrod.
