Hello, What do you try to start, do you hear rapid clicking, do the interior lights dim, or is the battery dead enough that nothing will work at all?
Do you have a 'multi-meter' to check voltage and circuit continuity? Sounds like a bad connection or faulty starter , IF the lights come on , and when jumping, it still won't crank. Testing is most likely the surest way to find the problem.
Its completely dead and jumping it want even give the car power to turn over there isn't a clicking sound or anything.
When you jump the car do the lights come on? Did you have the battery tested?
Yes the lights come on but it want start.
You either have a bad battery, or a severely discharged. Take it to the parts store and have it tested. Usually takes an hour or so. Also, unless you are using some heavy duty jumper cables, it could take upwards of 30 minutes to get a charge on a fully dead battery.
