my 2005 equinox has no pump and no dip stick the transmittion has a plug on the front where it can be filled in a shop. the power steering is electric assist not fluid

your power steering is electric assist. you will have to put car on lift to access tranny. best to bring it to a shop for inspection. a tranny shop.
