I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu. When I start the car the fuel gauge and engine temp don't work neither does my heat or windows?

Vehicles are plagued with a problematic ignition 'electrical' switch - *hands-on* testing by qualified personnel will be required to determine. Try giggling key - without turning engine off - to see if a response occurs from inoperative accessories... IF so - that pretty much confirms failing switch. This may or may not confirm - further testing is required.
I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu as well and this happened to me it is simply a fuse open up your fuse box under your hood and it is a 10 amp fuse you should be able to find it on the guy that’s on the fuse box
Only problem here is a 10 amp fuse isn’t heavy enough to include the inoperable “heat and windows” as in the original post.. Here is a link to the fuse boxes and fuse functions: https://www.autogenius.info/chevrolet-malibu-2003-fuse-box-diagram/ Power windows are protected by a ‘circuit breaker’ - which is feed by the IGNITION SWITCH. Good luck to all !
