What is your question?
The key gets stuck in the acc. position. The only way i can remove the key is by shifting from park to drive and back to park a few times. Sometimes the key returns to off and i can remove the key with no problem. The shifter seems to be working OK. The car only has 39900 km. Can this be a shifter (switch) problem or do i need to replace the ignition cylinder. I just purchased the car 1 month ago and the key got stuck 2 or 3 times in the last week but now the key gets stuck almost every time i use the car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thank you Bernie

While troubleshooting from a chair miles away can be problematic, if I had to guess and given what was mentioned regarding the task of putting the vehicle into park, drive, park I might take a look at the shift interlock solenoid. If a failing/failed shift interlock solenoid is telling the car it is still in drive, it would prohibit release of the key.
