muffler or catalytic converter

If the catalytic converter has to be replaced,is the muffler included? Can the muffler be replaced without the catalytic converter? Thank you, Adrienne

On Most Cars The Muffler And Converter Are Not Connected. However If Your Car Has The Factory Exhaust It Needs To Be Cut And A New Pipe Welded On. So In Fact You Do Not Need To Buy Both

the muffler is not included. and yes you can replace the muffler without it.
