Why did all the water drain out my radiator through tailpipe i think. the coolant light is on along with check engine light. The engine literally sounds fine, and thier is no water mixed with oil, checked dipstick.

The tail pipe isnt spewing white smoke it has a lil smoke but it disappears after awhile. I actually posted. A question just like this one before but forgot to add all the water being gone from my radiator the next day. The regular water did get hot after awhile seem to be steaming from the cap. Its currently just water on the radiator no coolant. Car is not being drove.

Pull all the spark plugs, fill cooling system(water is ok for test purposes). Pressure test the cooling system. Look for external leaks and try to look into the cylinders through the spark plug holes. If you can't see in the cylinders wait 10 minutes or so and crank the engine. Watch for water to blow out of a cylinder. If it passes this test you should retest with engine hot. Note: if the system does not hold pressure when testing, you should be able to find your leak internal or external. The check engine light code my point to a misfire in a cylinder do to a wet spark plug.
