What is your question?
Just bought the car, found a guy to do brakes, but I have to buy the parts, so brake shoes for the rear are easy to find, but the drum is a little harder. I don't know the last time brakes have been done, and it sounds bad, but do I have to have new drums each time I switch out the brake shoes?
Ok, thanks for the info. I am buying parts, so wasnt sure about purchasing before he comes over to do the job. I will get the pads and wait to see if it needs anything further such as rotors or a new drum till after we get in there... Thank you!
This guy may be a seasoned professional for all I know.. It's just that I have seen some shoddy work done on vehicles by some of the back yard fixers.. Brake work got to be done right! .. I meant no disrespect, just a word of caution..
