I hit a pole & did damaged to my driver door. I've gotten 4 estimates from different shops. 3 of the 4 are talking about getting a new door. While the 4th one is talking about replacing the door skin & moldings? I will be paying out of pocket so I would like to know what is the better choice?.
How long has your 2018 Chevrolet Impala had this problem?

Either option is a viable repair - i guess it depends on the estimated cost from each repair facility.. I suspect the door skin will be least expensive and if done properly just as good as door replacement.
