What is your question?
when i put gas it has trouble starting, it hesitates. I took it to the mechanic and they changed gas pump, filter, fuel pressure sensor and it still does the same thing and the engine light is still on. Second opinion mechanic said he could not find the problem and that it had nothing to do with what they fixed.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Every time i fuel up its worse
How long has your 2017 Chevrolet Impala had this problem?
more than a month

Obviously you need a more experienced mechanic to check your vehicle out. Problem is EVAP system related - engine is being flooded temporarily during refill. Holding accelerator pedal to floor when starting after refueling will help.
I'm not sure how old this post is, but I had the same issue in my 2017. I fixed it by replacing the purge valve.
I also have a 2017 Chevy Impala that started doing this 2 months ago. I understand your answer about engine flooding and holding the gas pedal all the way down when starting; however, I'd like to know if there is a mechanical fix that can be done to stop this from happening? Thank you
