What is your question?
Threw on a Cold Air Intake on a 2011 Chevy Impala LT and it has around 100,000 miles It ran fine for a little bit then started throwing check engine lights and running rough or accelerating while slowly letting off the throttle. Is it reasonable to assume with the MAF, Oxygen sensors etc aging around this mileage that it couldn't cope with the increased flow while it runs fine with the stock filter / box? The codes thrown were about running rich and throttle position sensor etc.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Runs normal with stock erratic with CAI

Those ‘gadgets’ are snake oil at best - dynamometer proven! .. IF the ‘gadget’ has a pre-oiled air filter - MAF sensor will become inoperative. Automobile manufacturers / engineers have done the necessary research - More than likely IF these aftermarket ‘gadgets’ were actually better - I think the vehicles would already be equipped with a very similar air intake system. Good luck!
