What is your question?
I see that there was a recall for air bag issues back in 2010. My airbag light is on. I have been told it is about 250.00 to fix it. Would this be part of the recall? I have also noticed that when it is really hot out the light goes out?

Recalls last the life of the vehicle, regardless of owner or mileage. However, the recall only applies to certain codes caused by a certain condition, so if the problem is a result of the failed part in the recall, it will be fixed at no charge. If the light is because of something else, you will be responsible for diagnostics and repair.
thank you, if this problem did not trigger the recall earlier when I had it checked for the light on I am guessing it is not related unfortunately
Thanks, is the recall still valid?
recalls are forever
