Is it ok to drive a 2008 impala SS if there is a cylinder #2 misfire?

Thanks pushrod. I have an out of town trip planned and light came on today. I do not have time to repair. I guess rental car it is!!

Possible quick fix...1- The Ignition coil....2- The Plug wire.... 3- The Spark plug....> on cylinder # 2 ... if could have a car savvy friend check it out.. Is the check engine light 'flashing' while driving?

Check engine flashes sometimes.
