Dealer told me #7 plug was bad they wanted 450$ to Chang all 8. 90$for diognostic test and the rest parts and labor. So I said screw you ill do it myself . Only problem is I didn't hav enough money to buy all 8 so I got 4 for now and ill do the other 4 next Friday when I get paid . They where really trying to screw me the price they gave me was outrageous by the way thank you for your help
when did chevrolet renumber the cylinders on their engines, have not worked on one in a while but it used to be the back cylinder on the drivers side. the order on the older chevrolets was from front to back 1,3,5,7 on drivers side and 2,4,6,8 on passenger side. I must have been hidden a long while. Sorry my mistake Seriously i knew the firing order changed a little but did not know about the renumbering of the cylinders.
This is probably a amature question but I'd really like to know what would happen if I overfill my trans fluid . Would it really cause it to slip and blow seals and if so how do I drain some out . My fluid is about half inch above the full level just below the metal ball on the dipstick

No problem. Plugs and labor should be around $250

Easiest way would be to suck some out with a fluid suction pump. Overfilling that much is not good.
