I replaced my upper intake manifold gasket twice on this car. The second time i changed it, when I got done the engine ran fine for a min. or so then it started to shake and white smoke started to come out. I figured blown head gasket from over heating twice. I wanted to add the head gasket sealer to repair but didn't get that far because I had a starter issue, (bad bearings). so I purchased a new starter, hooked it up, and it tried to turn over a few times but nothing. To make sure the motor wasn't locked up, I turned it manually . It would turn with no problem, but after awhile I could not turn it with the wrench at all. please help me understand why.

Very carefully and very slowly remove the spark plugs - strongly suspect intake gaskets were improperly installed allowing engine coolant to enter the cylinders and engine is now hydro locked. When removing spark plugs - there may be residual compression plus coolant in any one of the cylinders which will exit with force. Do not attempt rotating engine again until all spark plugs are removed - - water / coolant can't be compressed and connecting rod damage may result.
